Baku was a lovely place. These were taken in downtown on the way to the Old City. They capture aspects of life in Baku - how people are dressed, the cleanliness of the city, and what it's like to walk through Baku on a weekday night. I was amazed at how very lively and colorful the nightlife was. It says "FAST FOOD" but doesn't look like it. It was the same at the waterfront park near the conference venue. I saw many people enjoying a leisurely walk till late. I felt safe and peaceful. I found local people to be very friendly.   This looks more like it.
