Baku was a lovely place.
These were taken in downtown on the way to the Old City. They capture aspects of life in Baku - how people are dressed, the cleanliness of the city, and what it's like to walk through Baku on a weekday night. I was amazed at how very lively and colorful the nightlife was.

It was the same at the waterfront park near the conference
venue. I saw many people enjoying a leisurely walk till late. I felt
safe and peaceful. I found local people to be very friendly.
